Chief Operations Coordinator: Amber Rose Riley

One word that describes this lovely lady ~ Perseverance. Amber Rose Riley is a self-made woman and a prime example of how a positive mindset can bring you out of any situation. Being born and raised in a small rural town in Eastern Kentucky gave Amber her unique accent and strong will, but it also gave her an eye-opening look into poverty and how that negatively impacts a person’s life. In 2010, Amber came out of that small town and enrolled in Eastern Kentucky University where she declared her major in Paralegal Studies. In search of a prosperous, rewarding career, Amber overcame her financial struggles and earned her Bachelor’s degree in December 2015. Like most college students from rural Kentucky, Amber was the first person in her family to graduate from college. 

In 2011, her and Paula’s paths crossed. Paula was an employee at Eastern Kentucky University and she designed a mentoring program for first generation students. Amber applied to participate and based on her and Paula’s backgrounds, they were matched up as mentor and mentee. Their first meeting was anticipated to take about 15 minutes. Three hours later, after a lot of laughter and some tears, Amber and Paula walked out of their first meeting as friends. They have been together since then, and now Amber is helping Paula build her business as an author, spiritual teacher, and female empowerment coach.
