Someone said something the other night that has been on my mind, and I decided to address it in this month’s blog. I was having dinner and drinks with a friend, and she said, “I feel like using the Law of Attraction takes God out of the equation.” My immediate response was, “Oh no! No, no, no. Not at all!” I was stunned, and in that moment, I knew I had to provide clarity in case others feel this way. 

What is living on purpose? Living on purpose is when you use your God-given power to create your world your way. People who live on purpose do not believe in luck or coincidence because they know it is their thoughts, words, and actions that determine their surroundings. Living on purpose means you partner with the Universe to get what you want. Every thought you have is designed to serve your highest good. Living on purpose is the Law of Attraction in practice. 

Where does God fit in? Somewhere down the line “God” got personified. God was given a gender, race, and a personality, a quite vengeful personality at that. Facts are God is an energy, and a source of love that humans have trouble comprehending. When I say the word “Universe,” I view that word as an interchangeable term with God. When God was personified, people were taught to believe they were separate from God, but we aren’t separate at all! We are a part of that magnificent energy and it’s there for us to access anytime we want. Remember you are a spiritual being having a human experience. 

Since we are part of that Divine source, we are capable of manifesting miracles. You have everything in you right now that you need to create miracles, and the sooner you realize that the better off you will be. You have more power than you think. Your fate is not necessarily pre-determined without you having any control over what happens to you. Granted, the Universe always has a bigger, better plan, but you design the infrastructure for that plan with your thoughts, words, and actions. 

No one is blessed more than another. God does not play favorites. All of us are part of this Divine energy, and we have equal access to it. That’s why I refer to the Universe as an equal opportunity employer. Those who appear to have it all are connected to this source, and they expect abundance. They live on purpose. God is not selecting them to be blessed while cursing others. A person’s mindset determines what their world looks like. 

Moral of the story…living on purpose puts God at the forefront! When you connect to the Divine source you put God in charge of your life. You use what God gave you to create miracles, heal your body, strengthen your intuition, and to bring about the highest good for the largest number of people.
