Manifestation isn’t something you do.
Manifestation is what you are.
It’s a gift — a built-in power source you were born with. The ability to consciously create the life you want is miraculous. But here’s the catch: you can also consciously and subconsciously create a life you don’t want. You're manifesting 24/7. You were manifesting at birth, and the process has never stopped.
If you think you’re “not good” at manifestation, take a look at the things in your life you don’t want. You manifested those, too.
Two golden rules control this entire process:
Golden Rule #1: Like attracts like.
Golden Rule #2: You become what you think you are.
Seems simple, right? But this stuff gets confusing fast, especially when you're doing all the things…
Vision board? Check.
Affirmations? Check.
Meditation? Check.
Scripting? Check.
And yet your life doesn’t look any different. Why?
Because none of it works if the dominant tone of your emotional world is off.
The 80% Rule No One Talks About
Your manifestations follow how you feel 80% of the time.
If you hate your job and feel irritated most of your waking hours, you are broadcasting irritation — and irritation is a powerful frequency. Despite being low vibe, it magnetizes quickly.
What does irritation attract?
- Head colds
- Mistakes
- Car problems
- Chaotic mix-ups
- Unexpected expenses
- Petty arguments
- Relationship friction
- Anything that makes you want to scream into a pillow
Now imagine you feel good 80% of the time.
Not perfect —
just good.
Feeling good most of the day pulls in:
- Good health
- Unexpected money
- Helpful people
- Peace
- Ease
- Serendipity
- “Random” blessings you swear are luck
But luck is not random.
Luck is created by feeling good most of the time.
So Why the Vision Boards, Affirmations, and Meditation?
Because those practices help you feel good, which shifts your internal frequency — and science backs this up.
The Neuroscience Behind It
Your brain and subconscious believe whatever you repeatedly tell them. Neuroscientists call this neuroplasticity — the brain’s ability to rewire itself based on repetitive thought and emotional conditioning.
Your subconscious controls over 90% of your daily behaviors. Those behaviors create the quality of your life.
Affirmations, visualization, and meditation:
- Calm the amygdala (the fear center)
- Increase prefrontal cortex activity (the decision-making center)
- Strengthen neural pathways associated with confidence and worthiness
- Prime the Reticular Activating System (RAS) to look for opportunities that match your beliefs
The Energetics Behind It
Quantum-style explanations tell us that emotions carry measurable electromagnetic signatures. When you maintain a certain emotional baseline, those signatures align you with similar frequencies in the physical world.
In short:
Feel bad → attract bad.
Feel good → attract good.
Subconscious Beliefs: The Silent Saboteurs
Most people don’t even realize they’re carrying subconscious beliefs that poison their manifestations.
Lose your confidence somewhere along the way?
Never developed it in the first place?
Then your energy is radiating insecurity — and insecurity always manifests settling, disappointment, resentment, and chaos.
You start to believe everyone else gets what they want, while you never do. Over time, that belief becomes a script your subconscious runs without your permission.
This is how people end up living the same year over and over.
In my book, Thought SNOB: The Modern Spiritual Playbook for a Better Life, I walk you step-by-step out of this hole, but here’s an immediate crash course to get your energy moving in the right direction.
Your Crash Course for Fixing Your Manifestations
There are two critical windows every day when your brain is most open to reprogramming:
1. The moment you wake up
2. The moments before you fall asleep
These are the times when your brain is in theta — the subconscious sweet spot.
Let’s rewire it.
Morning Routine: Seal Your Fate
The moment you open your eyes, look at natural sunlight — even for 30 seconds.
Research from Stanford neuroscientist Andrew Huberman shows morning sunlight resets the amygdala and stabilizes the nervous system.
As you look at the light, say:
“Today is a lucky day. I am aligning with people, places, and things that give me a better life.”
Say it.
Think it.
Write it.
Repeat it while you get ready.
Then think of 2–3 things you are genuinely grateful for. Gratitude is scientifically proven to increase dopamine and serotonin — the “feel good” chemicals that raise your emotional frequency.
Gratitude is also shown in MRI studies to activate the brain’s reward pathways, making you more receptive to positive outcomes.
During the Day: Don’t React (This Is the Hard Part)
When something stressful happens — and it will — resist the instinctive reaction.
Go straight to the mantra:
“Today is a lucky day. I am aligning with people, places, and things that are giving me a better life.”
You’re not ignoring reality. You’re rerouting your energy.
Your happiness is determined less by your circumstances and more by your reactions to them. This mantra interrupts your old pattern and reroutes your subconscious toward the outcome you want.
Nighttime: Program Tomorrow
Before bed, say:
“Tomorrow is a lucky day. I will align with people, places, and things that give me a better life.”
If racing thoughts come in (and they will), gently shift your focus back to your mantra.
You're not forcing yourself to think positively — forced positivity is toxic and unrealistic. You're simply giving your brain a GPS destination.
And just like a GPS, once you enter the address, the route forms.
Your thoughts, words, emotions, and actions work the same way in the Universe.
They program your path.
Final Thoughts
Manifestation isn’t about forcing anything.
It’s about feeling good most of the time, communicating clearly with the Universe through your emotions, and understanding that your subconscious beliefs shape your reality far more than your conscious wishes.
If your manifestations aren’t working, the problem isn’t your vision board.
It’s not your affirmations.
It’s not your meditations.
It’s the internal weather system you’re living in 80% of the time.
Change that… and everything changes.
